Joining the Applied Geography Specialty Group:
Membership is open to all Association of American Geographers
(AAG) members in good standing who have notified the AAG of their desire to be AGSG
members subject to the rules of the AAG regarding specialty group membership. Membership
in the AGSG is on a annual basis concurrent with AAG membership.
Our members include:
- Academicians
- Students
- Government employees (local, state, federal, international)
- Teachers
- Planners
- Policy researchers
- Environmentalists
- Private sector employees

If you think spatially...
Or if you creatively apply geography to improve our world (or at least a little corner of it)...
Then you should be an applied geographer! Annual dues are $10 (free for students). Contact the AAG when you are ready to join.
